The 15th annual Chicago Football Classic is proud to partner with Power 92 and present music artist Jeremih as the half-time entertainer. The South Side native is a fan favorite and will be celebrating his new album "All About You" with the CFC fans. His album is scheduled for release this month.
"We are so proud to be a partner with the 15th annual Chicago Football Classic," says Jana N. Bonds, station manager, Power 92. "We strongly encourage higher education and appreciate the dedication the CFC has to promoting education with our youth. We believe Jeremih is an exceptional entertainer who will help carry that message. We welcome Jeremih home to Chicago."
The CFC is a weekend of activities focused around the Sept. 29 game featuring Albany State University and Kentucky State University at Soldier Field. The CFC encourages students and their families to lift the bar of excellence and achievement. Students are given a wide variety of cultural experiences and exposure to various forms of higher education and post-collegiate professional introductions. The CFC has also provided young African-American students with college workshops and introductions to scholarships and opportunities for a better education.
"On behalf of the entire Chicago Football Classic team, I would like to thank Power 92 and Jeremih for our half-time entertainment," says Tim Rand, co-founder of the CFC.
"It's been great to see the level of excitement since we announced Jeremih was performing during the game. This is really going to be a a great weekend and we are looking forward to welcoming Albany State University and Kentucky State University to Chicago."
