With so many cop shows, dedicated tv watchers can add a firefighter show to the list.
NBC's latest project "Chicago Fire" premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. and showcases the trials and tribulations of a Chicago firehouse family of firefighters and paramedicsand rookie Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett). Mills' character is a multi-generational firefighter.
The Dick Wolf Production stars are Eammon Walker, Barnett, Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney and Monica Raymund.
The show captures the everyday life of the firemen, showing them when they are not working, but simply relaxing, cooking, talking or showing a group of students around. There is more than just action, but some love interests pop up and a health scare that viewers are kept in the dark about.
There's also a surprise guest at the end of the show. Can you guess who it'll be?
