Pop princess and radio personality (WGCI) Demi Lobo will the 4th Annual Demi Lobo Most Talented Under 12 competition Oct. 6 a the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Pl.
The finals competition is the centerpiece of a weekend of networking, workshops and panel discussions Oct. 5-7.
Most Talented is a national competition to identify some of the most talented youth in the country and present them with career changing opportunities. Hundreds of contestants from around the country will compete for thousands in cash and prizes.
Hosting this year's competition will be Austin Mayfield from "Chicagolicious" and actor-recording artist BKeys. Judges for the competition include the Defender's Kathy Chaney and WGCI's Loni Swain. Special guest performer is the 2011 First Place winner Mae'Ya C. Ryan. A concert will follow the competition featuring RCA Recording artist Issa, 2010 MTU Competitor Lil Kaotik and Demi Lobo. The Demi Lobo Most Talented Under 12 Competition is sponsored in part by Luster Products, BFF Gemz, Jr. Celeb, Demi Lobo 4Dreamz, KCbizBOSS Entertainment Specialists, Momager Ink, and Born Fresh Entertainment.
Contestants will have an opportunity to network with top industry experts, learn from professional vocal coaches, choreographers and musicianns. On Oct. 5, there will be a CELEBRITY MOM PANEL featuring Gwenda Starling (Jeremih) Ngozi Thompson (Issa) and Kandi Conda (Demi Lobo). An INDUSTRY PANEL will feature renowned entertainment attorney Exavier Pope, Grammy Award Winning Producer Doc Little and other notable reps from the film, PR and music industry.
