March 17: 1946 – Jackie Robinson made is professional debut.
March 18: 1860 – Journalist Ralph Waldo Tyler was born.
March 19: 1975 – James Parsons became first Black chief judge of a federal court.
March 20: 1950 - Ralph Bunche received the Nobel Peace Prize.
