World AIDS Day is December 1 and everyone at BEHIV asks that you take a moment to remember those loved ones who have been lost to, or are living with, the disease.

New figures show that the number of infections annually have been underestimated by half, meaning that 60,000 Americans are infected each year.  It is believed that over 230,000 Americans are infected and don't know their status.

These figures paint a grim picture of the lack of information, education and prevention resources in this continuing battle.  Through BEHIV's work, we are educating and assisting people at highest risk for infection.
