1) There are those who settle out of court to avoid a trial. If you've paid attention to the many prisoners released from prison who were 100% innocent (ex. Death Row 10), you should know that innocent people do go to prison. Sometimes it may be easier to just plea bargain to save the countless attorney fees. He may have not wanted to risk going to prison for something he repeatedly said he didn't do. 2) As far as Kathy being a big fan of O.J. Simpson, it always amazes me how up and arms people are about O.J. but I've yet to see these same people this furious about Amadou Diallo, Rodney King, Abner Louima, or Emmett Till's killers--who admitted in print to torturing and killing this boy. Are you mad about their killers too? Just curious. 3) And as for MJ's 2nd trial, if you're mad at the legal system for acquitting him because there wasn't enough proof to say he molested the child, then that's completely and totally your business. But again, unless you have some type of proof or was in Neverland for a first-hand testimony, it's all speculation.

Ohh, so your saying to withold this "bit" of information from her children, even though it was a very, vey large piece of MJ's history? The fact that Mr. Jackson paid out a HUGE sum of his fortune to avoid a trial makes him guilty of preying on young children. What truly innocent person would do this? If Michael Jackson was innocent, then he should have been proven so, instead of paying 'hush money'. And the second trial? Well, I think it's safe to assume Michael was innocent, because he was aquitted, correct? I'm sure Kathy is a big fan of O.J. Simpson as well.

The once great musician is a pediphile...A dead pediphile. Be sure to tell your kids that as well. You are biased, even in light of the transperant facts about your beloved "Michael". People like you make people like us sick!
Zoie5522, unless you have some evidence that didn't go to trial and were at the scene of the alleged crime, I don't think Kathy should tell her children this bit of information, especially considering Michael Jackson was proven innocent in a court of law. Kathy shouldn't be the one to make you sick; I'm guessing if you disagree with the verdict, then the jury should. However, if no evidence could prove he did it, what makes you so sure he did?
