CHICAGO (AP) — Looking for an underwater adventure to get away from Chicago's harsh winters?
The Shedd Aquarium has a community discount week coming up this month. That means general admission to the aquarium's original galleries will be free. Those galleries include Waters of the World, Amazon Rising and the Caribbean Reef.
The free week runs Jan. 16-21.
Also, Shedd officials say Mondays and Tuesdays in January will be free for general admission starting this week.
The aquarium is located along Lake Michigan.
