ATLANTA (AP) — Clark Atlanta University's School of Business has named a new dean.
Lydia McKinley-Floyd chaired the marketing department at Clark Atlanta from 1991 to 2000 and 2004 to 2005. She served as dean of the School of Business and Industry at Florida A&M University and the College of Business Administration at Chicago State University and associate dean in the College of Business Administration at Savannah State University.
The Chicago native assumed her new role July 1.
McKinley-Floyd earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle, an MBA in marketing from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a doctorate degree in interdisciplinary studies from Emory University.
