Unique diversity in law school

Special to Defender

The University of Denver recently installed Catherine Smith as its first dean of institutional diversity, which is believed to be the first deanship-level position of its kind for any law school in the country. Smith will lead DU's renewed push for diversity on multiple fronts, from seeking out the best faculty talent who can help diversify  The University of Denver's Sturm College of Law's makeup, to ensuring that DU is doing more to recruit a broad and diverse base of students.
