The state's budget problems will be a hot topic of conversation for Illinois Senate Republican leader Christine Radogno when she appears on a radio talk show.
Radogno (rah-DOH'-nyoh) is set to tape a segment Friday afternoon for WBBM-AM's "At Issue" news program.
The Lemont lawmaker is at the center of negotiations with other top lawmakers and Gov. Pat Quinn to try to resolve the state's budget.
Lawmakers passed a budget that doesn't have enough to fund government operations. Quinn is pushing for an income tax increase to come up with more money, but he doesn't have the support of enough lawmakers.
"At Issue" airs Sunday.
