The FBI says a Plainfield school bus driver has been charged with distribution of child pornography.
Officials say Mario Meschino of Plainfield was taken into custody Wednesday by agents of the FBI's Innocent Images task force.
During a search of his home, numerous computer discs were found containing what the FBI describes as suspected images of minor children engaged in sexual activity.
Authorities say e-mail accounts used by Meschino were determined to have been used to send such images.
Meschino is being held at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago. The mandatory minimum for the charge is five years in prison and the maximum is 20 years.
