Chicago police have not located the mother who left her seven children home alone.
The children, ages 1 to 12, were found in a home in the 6400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue Sunday after police received a call at about 11:30 a.m. that the children had no supervision, according to police.
It is unclear how long the children had been home alone.
Police said the children were taken in good condition to the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital for a wellness check.
