I am a 27-year-old married female who has a problem that I’d like for you to help me with. I have been married to a man that I cannot really figure out. We dated for two years prior to our marriage last summer. We both agreed not to have sex before marriage because we are both saved. I must admit that we have a great relationship outside of the bedroom. However, we did not have sex on our honeymoon, and it has been seven months since the last time we have had sex. He never touches me and when I try to be sexy and romantic with him, he turns away. I suggested that he sees a doctor or maybe we should see a marriage counselor. I have spoken with several of my girlfriends about this matter and they all say that he’s gay. Please give me your take on this.

Thanks for the letter, but who am I to tell you that your husband is gay or not? I can tell you this…something is wrong with this relationship. A sexless relationship is not healthy. I’m going to give him some benefit of doubt in this situation. He may be overwhelmed or stressed out and does not know how to express himself. Have you every questioned your husband if he has poor body image or was sexually abused as a child because this could affect everything in your marriage. I would suggest that your husband seeks medical attention because he may be suffering from some type of sexual disorder. The longer you let him keep intimacy from your marriage, the scarier this marriage will be. Here’s to you both getting to the bottom of what’s truly wrong while seeking the ultimate pleasure in the process.
