Corporate table – $2500 with signage, partial proceeds to benefit the Abbott-Sengstacke Scholarship fund for journalism students

Objective: Produce an awards gala designed to recognize world-class citizens who display the highest level of leadership, whose commitment to excellence is empowering and whose achievements are unparalleled.

Program: Throughout its history, the Chicago Defender has presented awards to a variety of people and organizations for their contributions to improving the welfare of all citizens. The Newsmakers Awards is designed to follow in that tradition by recognizing world-class citizens who display the highest level of leadership, whose commitment to excellence is empowering and whose achievements are unparalleled. Honorees are selected because they have stood the test of time, are rising to new heights and who daily set the pace. 2008 was a huge success! We are expecting to repeat and even surpass the success in 2009!
