The Chicago Defender has learned from a source close to the family that two victims found in a home in the Englewood community are relatives of Academy Award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson.
The police identified the bodies as that of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother Jason.
Also, the police disclosed, Hudson’s nephew, Julian, is missing.
Chicago police confirmed that the two victims, discovered in the home at 7019 S. Yale, sustained fatal gunshot wounds and a double homicide investigation is now underway.
