Three teens stabbed during gang dispute

by Kathy Chaney
A fight between rival gangs Wednesday on the Southwest Side left three teens injured from stab wounds, police said.

Police said the fight broke out shortly before 8 p.m. in the 6200 block of South Whipple Street. The teens –– all males between the ages of 15 and 18 –– were seriously injured by what witnesses said was a shiny weapon.

The weapon was not recovered, and so far no one is in custody.
