The Rev. Otis Moss III, of Trinity United Church on the South Side, traveled to Atlanta earlier this month for a “strengthening” luncheon that also paid tribute to victims of the Sept. 11 terrorists attacks. Moss was the keynote speaker.
Nearly 100 faith and civic leaders gathered to renew their commitment to fortifying the Black community during the 4th Annual President's Prayer Luncheon sponsored by Atlanta City Council President Lisa M. Borders.
The event also remembered the Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 during a Prayer of Remembrance and moment of silence as the nation marked the seventh anniversary of that fateful day.
