Bulls announce pre-season slate

The Bulls have announced their 2008-09 pre-season schedule.

Among the games on the exhibition slate is a contest against the Utah Jazz at the University of Illinois’ Assembly Hall on Oct. 17.

That game will feature a showdown between Olympian and former Illiniois Deron Williams and Bulls number one draft pick Derrick Rose.

It will mark Williams’ first appearance at Assembly Hall since helping lead Illinois to the NCAA Final Four in 2006.

The Bulls will open their pre-season slate on Oct. 9 when they host the Dallas Mavericks at the United Center.
Other home pre-season games for the Bulls will include match-ups against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Oct. 14, against the Jazz on Oct. 18 and against the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 24.

In road pre-season games, the Bulls will travel to Dallas on Tuesday Oct. 21 and to Minnesota on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Tickets for all Bulls pre-season and regular season home games go on sale Oct. 2 at the United Center beginning at 10 a.m.
