Actor and vocalist, Kehinde Hart, who was spending his summer vacation in Chicago, received an urgent request to join the international company of Walt Disney's The Lion King for its tour of Asia. He is expected to join the specially selected cast in California later this month before heading overseas.
Hart, who plays the role of Simba, just concluded a fiveyear American tour of the stage play. The Asian tour will begin in Taipei, Taiwan in July and will be produced by Disney in conjunction with Andrew Lloyd Weber's production company, The Really Useful Company.
