Police responded to reports of a person shot at about 8:14 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Paulina Street. When they arrived, Willis Graham of the 800 block of California Avenue in Dolton, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police Officer John Henry said.
Graham succumbed to his injuries about an hour later at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one is in custody and a motive has not been determined, police said.
