CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago's Shedd Aquarium is kicking off the new year with several days of free admission for Illinois residents.
General admission to the aquarium's original galleries will be free from Jan. 25-28, and tickets to special exhibits will be discounted.
Attractions include the Caribbean Reef, Amazon Rising and the temporary exhibit on Jellies.
Free admission will also be offered on several other days, including Monday and Tuesday of next week.
The aquarium says advance ticket purchase is recommended.
