GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (AP) — Authorities say a 13-year-old student was caught at a suburban Chicago school last week with alcohol-laced chocolate milk.
Glen Ellyn Police Deputy Chief Bill Holmer says the concoction was already mixed in a container when the Glen Ellyn girl brought it to school on Friday. Police say she then allegedly gave it other it to other students as a "joke."
Police described it as a chocolate milk and Bailey's Irish Cream concoction.
Staff members at Hadley Junior High called police were called to the school after 8 a.m.
Holmer says no students appeared to be intoxicated.
Police reports say an officer communicated with the girl and her parents about enforcement action.
