RINGLING
BROS and BARNUM & BAILEY continue its electrifying edition of The Greatest
Show On Earth until Nov. 27 at the United Center. Featured are Tabayara,
dynamic animal trainer who stands eye-to-eye with ferocious tigers, ride
rearing stallions, work with four-on Asian elephants and the fearless Fernandez
Brothers, and the Human Fuse, Brian Miser, sets the arena sky ablaze with
rockets charging through the air. Tickets range from $13 - $60.
THE
MERCURY THEATER stages “The Christmas Schooner,” a Musical directed by L.
Walter Stearns with Musical Direction by Eugene Dizon and Choreography by
Brenda Didier featuring Jeff Award winners Cory Goodrich and Jim Sherman. The
action began Nov. 21 at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport.
MUNTU DANCE THEATRE OF CHICAGO,
7127 S. Ellis Ave., will feature a special dynamite presentation filled with
flashing fire entitled “Spice it Up!” Dec.1 and Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the
DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Pl. In addition to a dynamic
concert of dance there will be available fantastic gifts from local artists in
Muntu’s Artists Marketplace. Ticket are $15 (adults), $8 (children under 12)
and $12 for adults groups of 50 or more.
