Chicagoland
native and teen singing sensation Jawan Harris has the girls screaming and
wishing their name was “Keisha” when he belts out the popular hit “Keisha.
Harris,
now a Georgia resident, has been back home several times this year to perform
for his fans for the Closer To My Dreams Tour, the WGCI/107.5-FM car show and
for Dwyane Wade’s Wades World Weekend.

When did you start singing?

Harris: When I was about four years old.

is your inspiration?
JH:
Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown, Usher, the Temptations and Frankie
Lymon.
CD: What
has been your most memorable moment on tour?
JH:
Meeting the fans and performing for them.
CD: When
you’re not performing, what’s on your agenda?
JH: I
spend time with my family.
