CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago's skyline is changing colors
for a good cause.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and other officials announced
that some of Chicago's most iconic buildings will be lit up purple in support
of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November.
The 15 buildings include such big names as the
Willis Tower, Trump Tower, Wrigley Building, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the AON
building. Some other participating buildings are Inland Steel, Northern Trust
Bank, Bloomingdale's and the Goodman Theatre building.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network says it's
grateful the city is helping to build public awareness about the deadly
disease.
