will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

ARTS MAINSTAGE SEASON, 7558 S. South Chicago Ave., currently features “The
Trip” by Crystal V. Rhodes; directed by Mignon McPherson Nance. The show
expects to conclude Nov. 14. The drama by Rhodes consists of four longtime
friends who become petty and mixes with verbal battles and unexpected
situations among friends.

FACE THEATRE, 1105 W. Chicago Ave., presents “The Kid Thing” by Artist
Associate Sarah Gubins and directed by Joanie Schultz. Two lesbian couples who
are close friends attend a dinner party, however they become concerned over the
fact of an impending pregnancy that dangers their friendship.
GOODMAN
THEATRE, 170 N. Dearborn, continues its 34th edition of “A Christmas Carol”
with Larry Yando returning as “Scrooge.” Steve Scott directs the holiday
classic that continues through New Years Eve. Tickets range from $25 to $80.
