CHICAGO (AP) — Nation of Islam Minister Louis
Farrakhan says those rejoicing in the death of ousted Libyan leader Moammar
Gadhafi will come to sorrow.
In a radio talk show interview Tuesday, Farrakhan
called the death of Gadhafi an assassination, which he laid at the feet of the
United States, Great Britain and France.
Noting most people know nothing about Libya,
Farrakhan told WVON talk show host Cliff Kelley that Gadhafi used oil revenue
to benefit his people. He pointed out that since taking over in a bloodless
coup in 1969, Gadhafi raised its citizens' life expectancy from 44 years to 75
years.
