CHICAGO (AP) — A 15-month search for a missing Chicago woman ended a few miles from her home at the county morgue where her body has been held for more than a year.
The Chicago Tribune reports the identification of
Carmelita Johnson's remains were made after her family provided her dental
records last week to a detective.
But Jackson says she's angry because she believes the
police dragged its feet. Police say they did what they could to find Johnson.
The medical examiner's office says a cause of death
hasn't been determined.
