ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The only grandson of Malcolm X will speak at a statewide birthday celebration for the civil rights activist.
Malcolm Lateff Shabazz will deliver remarks about
his grandfather's legacy at the Wiley H. Bates Legacy Center in Annapolis on
Thursday night.
Malcolm X was assassinated in 1965. Had he lived,
he would have turned 86 on Thursday.
