CHICAGO (AP) — The Cook County state's attorney's office says no problems have been reported in a ward that includes Chicago's Chinatown after alleged electioneering and voter fraud in the previous election.
The state's attorney's office on Tuesday was
monitoring the 25th ward where incumbent Alderman Danny Solis faces Cuahutemoc
Morfin.
The state's attorney's office had asked the Chicago
Police Department to assign officers fluent in Chinese to help monitor polling
places in the 14th, 16th and 18th precincts.
