Eight Chicago high school seniors from the Chicago Park District’s Central Region advanced to the next round in the park district’s Junior Citizen Award competition.
The Junior Citizen program was designed to
recognize and reward high school seniors who participate and exhibit leadership
qualities in civic activities, church, parks and school.
Central Region Manager Art Richardson welcomed
journalist Robin Robinson of WFLD-TV was the keynote speaker at the Central
Region’s competition banquet at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
